Workhorse Bench Features

Removable Ramps

The Chisum Workhorse bench features removable ramps for greater access to the vehicle. Wider than market-standard competitors, these ramps measure 92” across. This allows heavier vehicles like trucks and SUVs to fit onto the bench with far greater ease. 

Mounting Arms

The Workhorse’s wide mounting arms allow for clamping a wide uni body-constructed vehicle without the need to invert the bench chassis clamps. The top of the arms and the mounting components are milled to tolerances measured in plus-or-minus 0.15 mm. 

Multiple Lengths

To meet the needs of body shop owners, Chisum offers the Workhorse bench in both 19ft. and 16.5 ft. lengths. With the Workhorse 19-foot model, repairing any SUV or light truck is made simpler and more efficient for technicians.

The Chisum Workhorse was developed over 4 years of intense research, testing, and quality assurance. This resulted in a superior bench that is truly globally constructed from various types of materials and assembly that covers nearly every continent of the world. 

Stronger Lift Capacity

With a lift constructed entirely of WL510 steel material, the Workhorse bench can lift an incredible 10,200 lbs. This meets the demands of most of today’s OEM requirements. Its lift arms are composed of two heat-treated CNC pieces which lead to virtually zero deviation and greater internal toughness, resulting in extraordinary lift capacity and performance. 

Smarter & Safer

The Workhorse bench is the first of its kind when it comes to intelligent functionality. Its power unit will lift itself out of a locked position when pressing the down button on the pendant or on the unit. This results in a safer work environment for your body shop team. 

Cross-Compatible

The Workhorse is designed for cross-compatibility with bench accessories from other leading manufacturers. These include, but are not limited to popular brands like Snap-On, UnoLiner, and Car-o-Liner. 

Multiple Pulling Capabilities

With the Workhorse bench, you can add as many pull towers as needed to get the job done. Designed for multiple simultaneous pulls at 360-degrees around the bench, benefit from 10 tons of power on each pull tower with a built-in down-pull attachment for better angles during repairs. 

The Finish

Factory shot-blasting the entire bench comes standard with the Workhorse. This is then followed by a process of electrophoresis to aid in easier cleaning and degreasing; resulting in an etched, rust-free surface ideal for the subsequent powder-coating process.
